Consultation Projects and Feasibility Studies:

Studying the Possibilities
For Purchase, Development or Sale

To help your congregation or ministry make decisions about land or facilities:

We will provide consultation regarding the implications of purchasing, developing, or selling real estate, including

  • Analysis of existing conditions: site, facilities, agency constraints and available resources
  • Highest and best use of existing land and facilities
  • Estimated costs
  • Reasonable alternatives
  • Summary of available resources
  • Recommendations

At your request, we will also prepare a written report (a “Feasibility Study”).

Our goal is to explore every reasonable alternative for solving your real estate needs and then recommend the approach with the highest likelihood of success.

Compensation
The pricing structure for CDP consulting fees is straight forward. CDP charges its consulting clients hourly fees based on a published rate schedule. Hourly rates are set to cover not more than 80% of CDP's actual costs. Expenses and the cost of any outside professional services are paid directly by CDP's consulting clients. Typically, CDP enters a short-term contract with its consulting clients and includes a not-to-exceed estimate of the total fees and other charges to be incurred by the client for the consulting services. Before commencing any work, CDP requires payment of an advance retainer equal to approximately half of the total fee estimate. Each project is unique, so fee estimates vary based on the scope of work.
